viewing each client as a unique individual with specific needs and goals. The integration of counseling and art therapy is key to my approach, as I believe that art is an incredible vehicle for the healing process, with the power to enhance traditional talk-therapy as well as the relationship between client and therapist.

In my training, I have worked with adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and adults and children experiencing a variety of mental health concerns. Most recently, I have been facilitating an art therapy group via telehealth with adult cancer patients. With the support of my supervisors and colleagues, I have developed an art therapy program to support children coping with the COVID-19 pandemic that I hope can bring comfort and connection to the lives of children in the Southeast Michigan community.
