Allison Krieg-Hill
MA, LPC, ATR
As a clinical mental health counselor and art therapist, I believe in the human potential and the power of transformation. Counseling is a working process that begins with a relationship. Understanding the client’s perspective is a foundation for making therapeutic progress.
My training and background works to empower clients to achieve their personal goals. My approach is strengths-based, integrated and aimed to explore the whole picture of the client’s experience and involved systems.
Art therapy utilizes art to improve self-esteem, regulate emotion, encourage personal expression and help strengthen and heal relationships. Art therapy makes use of the creative process to initiate and foster communication through visual and physical experiences. Art therapists are highly trained in
ethical technique as well as the use and application of media for therapeutic purpose. I work with my clients through life transitions, grief, trauma, stress management, depression, and anxiety. I work with children, adolescents and adults based on individual need.
