MA, LPC, ATR

My areas of focus include working with clients' trauma, stress, and goals for the future. I have been trained in EMDR and Art therapy and these approaches compliment talk therapy and can be tailored to meet each client's needs. Much of our work together will focus on how to regain internal peace/functionality through small, strategic, and obtainable goals.

My counseling approach is integrative and based on my clients' wants and needs. This is the pillar of person-centered care and I promise to meet you where you're currently at. I have experience working with many different populations in various settings. My diverse work and educational background has allowed me a large degree of experience and empathy.

If you have received therapy in the past and found the experience poor or did not connect with your former therapist, please know that you are not alone. Finding a therapist who is a good fit for your unique situation is sometimes a trial-and-error process and can take time, just like how therapy can sometimes take longer than you anticipate for meaningful results. I invite you to discuss your previous experiences and if this is your first time seeking services, "bravo!" for prioritizing your mental health!

I graduated from Wayne State University with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Art Therapy in 2019. My professional counseling experience has included working at a Community Mental Health facility, working with foster care children/parents, and now with SCC! I completed EMDR training in June 2021 and I am pursuing EMDR certification with the full capacity to offer EMDR therapy.
